Committing to Jesus The Christ
1  WHOEVER COMMITS TO JESUS AS THE MESSIAH IS BORN OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega), AND WHOEVER LOVES THE FATHER LOVES THOSE BORN OF HIM.

2  BY THIS WE KNOW THAT WE LOVE THE CHILDREN OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega), WHEN WE LOVE THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) AND OBSERVE HIS COMMANDMENTS.

3  FOR THIS IS THE LOVE OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega), THAT WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS; AND HIS COMMANDMENTS ARE NOT BURDENSOME.

4  FOR WHOSOEVER IS BORN OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) OVERCOMES THE WORLD; AND THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD: OUR FAITH.

5  WHO IS THE ONE WHO OVERCOMES THE WORLD, BUT HE WHO BELIEVES THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega)? (Theos GOD in the flesh.)

6  WHO "erchomai" (meaning "came/went/appeared/arised/found influence/was established") WITH WATER AND BLOOD, (via virgin birth, baptism & death) JESUS, THE MESSIAH. NOT WITH THE WATER ONLY, BUT WITH THE WATER AND WITH THE BLOOD. IT IS THE SPIRIT WHO TESTIFIES, BECAUSE THE SPIRIT IS THE TRUTH. (John 14:17, John 19:34)

7  FOR THERE ARE THREE THAT TESTIFY:

8  SPIRIT, WATER, BLOOD. These THREE ARE IN AGREEMENT.
(KJV adds many words to these verses.)

9  IF WE RECEIVE THE TESTIMONY OF MANKIND, THE TESTIMONY OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) IS GREATER; FOR THE TESTIMONY OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) IS THIS, THAT HE HAS TESTIFIED CONCERNING HIS SON.

10  THE ONE WHO BELIEVES IN THE SON OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) HAS THE TESTIMONY IN HIMSELF; THE ONE WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) HAS MADE HIM A LIAR, BECAUSE HE HAS NOT BELIEVED IN THE TESTIMONY THAT THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) HAS GIVEN CONCERNING HIS SON.

11  AND THE TESTIMONY IS THIS, THAT THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) HAS GIVEN US ETERNAL LIFE, AND THAT LIFE IS IN HIS SON.

12  HE WHO HAS THE SON HAS THAT LIFE. HE WHO DOES NOT HAVE THE SON OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) DOES NOT HAVE THAT LIFE.

Conclusion
13  THESE THINGS I HAVE WRITTEN TO YOU WHO COMMIT TO THE NAME/AUTHORITY OF THE SON OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega), SO THAT YOU MAY KNOW THAT YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

14  THIS IS THE CONFIDENCE WHICH WE HAVE BEFORE HIM, THAT, IF WE ASK ANYTHING ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, HE GRANTS OUR PETITIONS. (John 14:14-15, 1 John 3:22)

15  AND IF WE KNOW THAT HE GRANTS OUR PETITIONS IN WHATEVER WE ASK, WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE THE REQUESTS WHICH WE HAVE ASKED FROM HIM.

16  IF ANYONE SEES HIS BROTHER COMMITTING SIN, NOT HEADING TOWARD (the second) DEATH, HE SHALL ASK AND THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) WILL FOR HIM GIVE LIFE TO THOSE WHO COMMIT SIN NOT HEADING TOWARD (the second) DEATH. THERE IS SIN HEADING TOWARD DEATH. I DO NOT SAY THAT HE SHOULD PRAY IN THAT situation.
(The context of this entire chapter & considering 1 John 1:5-10, Rms. 6:23 & James 5:16-20, what this verse means is that if you see a true Christian struggling with sin, or committing sin, but they are willing/wanting to repent, you can ask GOD to help that person. But if you know that the person has no intent to repent & is heading toward the second death of the Lake of Fire, then you would be wasting your time praying for GOD to save them. He wants to save everyone, 2 Peter 3:9. But He cannot forgive a person who is unwilling to confess & repent. There is only one sin unpardonable in Matt. 12:31-32 & I believe that to be rejecting GOD without repentance all the way to the Lake of Fire. The wages of sin is the 2nd death, Rms. 6:23 & this is true for all sins that are without repentance. GOD is faithful to forgive us if we confess & repent, 1 John 1:5-10 Acts 2:38. Also, we have the power to remit or retain forgiveness unto JESUS for another person's sin. Exo. 23:20 Matt. 9:5, Matt. 16:19, Matt. 17:20 Matt. 18:15-20 Mark 2:5-10 Luke 17:3-4 John 14:10-14, John 20:23, James 5:15. However, we should not remit forgiveness unto JESUS on behalf of someone who is sinning without repentance.)

17  ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS IS SIN. AND THERE IS SIN NOT HEADING TOWARD DEATH. (When a person temporarily struggles with sin but they do repent. Rms. 7)

18  WE KNOW THAT NO ONE WHO IS BORN OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) SINS; BUT HE WHO WAS BORN OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) KEEPS HIM, AND THE EVIL ONE DOES NOT TOUCH HIM.

19  WE KNOW THAT WE ARE OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega), AND THAT THE ENTIRE (wicked) WORLD LIES IN THE POWER OF THE EVIL ONE.

20  AND WE KNOW THAT THE SON OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) HAS COME, AND HAS GIVEN US UNDERSTANDING SO THAT WE MAY KNOW HIM WHO IS TRUE; AND WE ARE IN HIM WHO IS TRUE, IN HIS SON JESUS, THE MESSIAH. THIS IS THE TRUE THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) AND ETERNAL LIFE. (1 Cor. 2:10)

21  LITTLE CHILDREN, GUARD YOURSELVES FROM IDOLS. (Exo. 20:4 Deut. 4:15-19)
